The Electronics department at SSM polytechnic was established in the year 1970. The department offers a three-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering. The department serves as a pivotal hub within the institution and encompasses a diverse range of disciplines, technologies, and applications that are integral to modern society. From consumer electronics to cutting-edge research in nanotechnology, the electronics department plays a crucial role in shaping the technological landscape.

This stream of engineering deals with basic electronics, microprocessors, analog communication, analog integrated circuits and communication system. It also deals with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits, and communications equipment.

  • M-1: To impart knowledge and technical skills in electronics engineering through the innovative teaching-learning process.

  • M-3: To inculcate ethical and moral values by promoting activities addressing the needs of the society and environment.
